Questions
If your question is not here, ask us directly. We would rather answer it properly than leave you guessing.
Buying
Can I buy if I am not a dealer?
Yes. Our first customers are dealerships, but we sell to private buyers too. Your destination country’s import rules apply either way, and we will help you understand them.
Why do some listings say “Price on request”?
Our aim is to show a price on every normal listing. Where a price is still being confirmed, the listing says so rather than showing a figure that might change. Ask and we will quote straight away.
Can you find a car that is not listed?
Yes. Send a sourcing request with the car, budget and destination. We search auctions and dealer stock in Japan and only recommend cars we have checked.
Inspection and condition
What is an auction sheet?
The inspection report written by the auction house’s own inspector. It gives an overall grade, an interior grade, the odometer reading and a map of every mark on the body. We translate it in full.
Do you verify mileage?
We cross-check the odometer against the auction sheet and any available records before calling mileage verified. Where it cannot be verified, the listing says Pending.
Can I see more photographs or a video?
Yes. Ask for specific angles, underbody photos or a walk-around and we will send them where the car is available to us.
What does the AI film on some listings show?
It is a short film animated from the actual photographs of that car, clearly labelled as such. It is not documentary footage. The real photographs are always on the same page.
Payment
How do I pay?
By bank transfer, to the details given through our verified payment process after you confirm the car in writing.
How do I know payment details are genuine?
Our bank details are published in one document on this site, linked beside every payment notice. If any instruction you receive differs from it, call your Revora specialist before transferring anything. We will never change bank details by email alone.
Shipping
Which countries do you ship to?
We ship worldwide, subject to each country’s import rules on vehicle age, steering side and standards. Tell us the destination and we will confirm what is possible before you commit.
RoRo or container?
RoRo is usually the most economical for a single car on a regular route. Containers suit high-value cars, several cars together, or routes without regular RoRo sailings.
How long does shipping take?
It depends on the route, the vessel and the season. We give an estimate with every quote and update you at each stage: booked, sailed and arrived.
After the sale
What happens when the car arrives?
You or your customs agent clear the car at the destination port using the documents we send. We stay available for questions during and after delivery.
Who handles registration in my country?
Registration in the destination country is handled locally, by you or your agent. We provide the export documents it requires.
